Bengt and Mark are old friends who grew up skateboarding in New Jersey and NYC during the 1980s. Bengt moved to Hawaii in the early 90s and immediately embraced the surf culture of the islands. After several years in Hawaii, Bengt settled in Switzerland and still surfs every chance he gets, mainly at surf breaks in the west of France.

Bengt graduated with a B. Arch degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and an EMBA from the University of St. Gallen. Bengt is a senior leader in business development, value-added sales, and infrastructure deployment with broad experience in demanding turn-around management projects focusing on positive change for improved results.

Mark resides in New Jersey, and at the age of 48, you can still find him cruising on his skateboard or surfing at the Jersey Shore. Mark graduated from Kean University with a B.S. degree in industrial technology and moved on to a 20-plus-year career as a senior sales executive in the fintech space.

We combine our love for surfing, concern for the environment, and entrepreneurial spirit to develop a manufacturing process that could bring ecological wooden boards to the global surfing community.
